Who we are

This website is operated by Samisoftz, a software studio. For privacy questions, email [email protected]. This policy covers this website only. A client contract is separate.

What the booking form collects

If you book a time at /book, we collect your name, email, the time you pick, your time zone, and a short note if you write one. If the link you used carries extra context, we store that context with the booking.

We add an event on the Samisoftz Google Calendar. Google sends you a calendar invite. If Google returns a Meet link, that link is on the event.

This form does not add you to a mailing list.

If you email [email protected] instead, we keep what you send in that message.

Why we use it

We use the booking to hold the time you asked for and to send the invite. The legal basis is steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the booking.

Where it is stored, and for how long

The event is stored on the company Google Calendar, and Google sends the invite. We keep the event until the call has happened. If we then work together, contract records stay until that contract ends. You can ask us to delete a booking that is not part of a contract.

Analytics

Analytics do not run until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, the site loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-N2K8GS9G), Google Analytics (G-GHWWXFYS7K), and PostHog. Google Analytics measures visits and interactions. Advertising storage and ad personalization are disabled. PostHog is set to store a browser identifier in local storage and a cookie. This PostHog project is in the US region. The browser sends those events to this site, which forwards them to PostHog in the United States. Google processes Tag Manager data as the container is configured.

Reject stops those tools from loading. Your choice is stored in this browser under the key samisoftz-analytics-consent. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it. Turning analytics off stops collection, clears accessible analytics storage and reloads the page. It does not erase previously collected data.

Transfers

PostHog, after you accept analytics, stores that data in the United States. If a provider stores data outside the UK or the EEA, the transfer relies on that provider's standard contractual clauses where they apply. Email [email protected] if you want to know which host is in use for a message you sent.

The booking event is stored by Google on the company calendar. Email [email protected] if you want to know where that calendar is hosted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict it, or give it to you in a portable form. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent for follow-up email or analytics. You can also complain to a data protection authority. Write to [email protected].
